CREATIVE LOCI IACOBI - COSME

PROJECT

CREATIVE LOCI IACOBI COSME

2018-2019

Financed with funds from the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME), its objective was to promote and improve the visibility of the routes of Santiago through the use of ITC-related technologies, providing complete and practical information to potential tourists and other interested parties, on all the roads to Santiago in Europe as well as UNESCO recognized places that can be found on these routes.

The project served to establish stable instruments of European cooperation in tourism and to publicize the Xacobea Route responding to the current needs of the pilgrimage, aligning itself with the objectives of the Smart Camino, which seeks to make the most of the Camino experience thanks to the advantages of the latest virtual and immersive technology.

The results of the project will be circulated in 8 countries amongst the members of the European Federation of St. James: Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, Lithuania, Poland and Portugal.
